Medis celebrates 25 years in Mozambique

Medis celebrated its silver wedding anniversary in Mozambique in a festive atmosphere. The event was attended by the directors Dr Thebar Miranda, president of Azevedos Group, the board, among other guests, such as customers, partners and employees

Medis' 25 years in Mozambique is a success story. By basing its activity on three fundamental pillars - guaranteeing the importation and distribution of authentic, quality medicines, ensuring their permanent availability and ensuring that medicines reach all Mozambican territories, from Rovuma to Maputo, thus making them accessible, Medis can be proud today that it has achieved its objectives. Medis is currently the leading distributor in Mozambique and represents more than 30 pharmaceutical laboratories, including the main Portuguese and multinational companies.

With over a thousand customers and a portfolio of more than 800 products authorised by ANARME (National Medicines Regulatory Authority), Medis guarantees coverage for 100% of Mozambique and has a processing capacity of over 150 orders per day, with deliveries in less than 24 hours in Maputo, Beira and Nampula, through its own distribution channels.

To mark this very special moment, a silver piece alluding to the celebrations was distributed to all participants.
